Visit the Fon du Lac Tribal and Community College booth near the stage for a community mural project lead by local renowned artist Moira Villiard. The booth will also feature Native artists selling their work. Staff from the college will be on hand to tell you about their Fine Arts degree program that offers a range of options for students who want to pursue careers in visual arts.

Check out art in action at the Duluth Forging Company booth near the stage. Artists will demonstrate the art of metalsmithing and share information about Duluth Forging Company’s programs.
DULUTH AND ELY FOLK SCHOOLS
Visit the Duluth and Ely Folk Schools booth near the stage for hands-on activities including weaving on a large scale loom. Stop by and check out the many classes and programs that these handcrafting communities offer.
ART ESCAPE
Can’t get enough art? Visit the Bayfield and the Apostle Island’s booth to learn about Art Escape, a nine-day celebration of all things art across Bayfield County and Madeline Island held September 9 – 17, 2023.

Calligraphy with Learn to Flow
Try your hand at the ancient art of calligraphy and take your masterpiece home with you. Jean Tsai of Learn to Flow will demonstrate the practice of Sumi-e, an ancient art form with roots in both the Japanese and Chinese cultures and Shodo, the Way of the Brush, which is the practice of Japanese calligraphy. Find the Learn to Flow booth near the stage.
