Ingeborg von Agassiz is an electronic-folk artist from Duluth, MN. She performs with keyboards, beats, and vocal loops. Her recent self-produced album was described by the Duluth News Tribune as being “one of the best locally-made albums in the history of locally-made albums” and that it’s “so good, it’s almost embarrassing to say how good it is.”

Local artist Erin Virta was selected to create a mosaic using recycled lottery tickets. The theme of the artwork challenge was “North Shore Jackpot”. You could win this beautiful and peaceful work of art showing the kayaker’s perspective of a day on the lake.

ARTIST BIO: Erin Virta ( is a mixed media artist that lives and works in Duluth, Minnesota. Her colorful paintings pay honor to the natural and architectural sensibilities of Lake Superior’s North Shore. For her paintings, she uses organic elements and recyclable materials. An advocate for sparking creativity, Erin is constantly exploring and developing new visions for her work in painting and photography.



Mini Makers with Makers Mercantile

10:00 am – 1:00 pm • Saturday, August 18

Makers Mercantile, a mobile store that sells locally made goods, will be providing a “Mini Makers” area at the festival. They’ll be providing a kid’s craft involving Lake Superior stones. Children will be able to take home a little slice of the North Shore!



Patrons will enjoy a vast array of cars on display from 11 am – 4 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Want to show your car? Display your vehicle & spend the day with other car enthusiasts. Lunch provided! Advance registration recommended.
