MISSION: Art in Bayfront Park Art Fair is a free two day intimate event open to the public and offers appreciative art lovers an opportunity to purchase gallery quality art work from approximately 180 artists. Our mission is to bring fine art into Duluth while strengthening and engaging the community to enrich lives through art by providing satisfying, meaningful and rewarding art experiences. Art in Bayfront Park brings gallery quality artists from around the country and buyers together in Duluth’s picturesque and beautiful Bayfront Park, helping the community to appreciate Bayfront Park and all its amenities while bringing the community together for a fun filled day of art appreciation.
COMMUNITY BONUS
Another goal of Art in Bayfront Park is to develop a strong sense of shared ownership between the community and the art fair. This has been achieved in two ways 1) Art in Bayfront Park started in 2010 as a means to not only bring art into the community but to help local taxpayers by providing a new event to the new Bayfront. The scenic Bayfront park was losing money. Bayfornt Park either needed to bring in new events to support the park or increase taxes to Duluthians. 2) It is through the strength of the volunteer team we will continue to grow Duluth's Art in Bayfront Park.
EDUCATION
Art in Bayfront Park incorporates a strong education element to the Art Fair. It encourages public participation in the arts by offering the community a taste of art by experiencing beginning art classes. These inspiring classes teach people to become a guiding light toward making our community stronger, more vibrant and more welcoming through art.
KIDS CORNER
Art in Bayfront Park Art Fair develops healthy participation and attendance to young people by stimulating the creation of a new generation of people involved in art. The Kids Corner of Art in Bayfront Part allows children enjoy experiences in art by giving them a free interactive hands-on experience with arts and crafts.
ARTISTS
Art in Bayfront Park is committed to treating all of our artists and performers and their work professionally, with dignity, respect and fairness. We are devoted to developing, promoting and supporting for our artists and performers. We give open access for all types of gallery quality art forms. We aim to increase patronage to our event stimulate participation in art buyers. We actively pursue our artists comments, ideas, visualizations and thoughts to help with our future fairs.

* We provide a reusable glass for our "Celebration of Wines" event to reduce waste.
* We reuse our name holders for our artists along with our signage.
